Cookie Policy
Last updated: 16 August 2026
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. Most sites use them to recognise you, remember settings, or follow you around the internet.
This one does almost none of that.
What this site sets
Only what is strictly necessary for the site to load and stay secure. Nothing that identifies you, nothing that remembers you between visits, and nothing that follows you elsewhere.
Under UK law, strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent - which is why there is no banner asking for it.
What we don’t do
- No analytics. We don’t measure which pages you read or how long you stay.
- No advertising or retargeting. You will not see ads for us because you visited.
- No third-party trackers. No pixels, no tags, no social embeds.
- No profiling. We build no picture of you from your behaviour on this site.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs - IP address, time, page requested, browser type - for security and reliability. These are not cookies, we do not use them to identify individual visitors, and they are deleted automatically after a short period.
Controlling cookies
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Because this site uses only essential ones, blocking them may stop parts of it working, but you will lose nothing you would otherwise have gained.
If this changes
We may add privacy-respecting analytics in future - the kind that counts pages without identifying people or setting cookies.
If we ever add anything that isn’t strictly necessary, this page will be updated before it goes live, and you will be asked before it is set.
